Middle East always has had a growing economy,
and the job market of Abu Dhabi is seeking more and more
professionals. If you are looking for a suitable position abroad, then you can
better opt for jobs in Abu Dhabi.
Compensation
is an important concern for any company or individual. It is the first thing
that any employment contract mentions is the position and the salary that is
offered to the candidate. Make sure that your employer is providing a complete
details and breakup of the salary, which must include the base salary, housing
allowance, travel allowance, health insurance, and round-trip tickets to the home
country. Annual bonuses can be an add on for jobs in Abu Dhabi.
Housing
allowance: As per the standardized calculations, the amount for housing
allowance is equivalent to 3 months of basic salary, and is generally paid every
6 months.
Transportation
allowance: Constitutes 10% of the basic salary, or a company vehicle as an
alternative.
Health
Insurance: Generally provided by the employer, and covers the individual
employee and his/her family. The health insurance benefits can also be upgraded
according to the candidate’s requirement and wish.
Round
trip tickets: Most of the companies
offer family round trip tickets (generally 4) back and forth home for the
employees who are hired from other countries. In case the employee does not
wish to travel, the amount can sometimes be given as cash.
Annual
Bonus: For the candidates working for sales, marketing or product development,
the employers offer an annual bonus that is based on performance according to
the achieved targets.
Moving expenses: If you are shifting your base
from any other city to Abu Dhabi,
the company hiring you is liable to provide you with moving costs or possibly give
a signing bonus.
So you do not need to worry about the
compensation in Abu Dhabi jobs, just ensure that whatever salary the company
commits, is mentioned on the offer letter.
