Dubai offers Great Career Opportunities for Expats

The job vacancies of Dubai are waiting for promising candidates to fill them. Getting a suitable job in Dubai is not that tough, what is tough is to find a job that matches your eligibility criteria and previous work experience.

There is craze among expats to work in Dubai, and the employers, being multinational companies, also hire candidates who belong to western and European countries. The professionals from Asian countries also shift their professional bases to Dubai, but the preferred candidates are from the western countries mostly.

The question now arises that why people are so much attracted to work in Dubai, the answer lies in the fact that the jobs brings so much of benefits with it. The government is also taking various steps to attract more and more bright candidates and young blood to work for them.

Taxes have been major factors to that have led the expats to work in Dubai. Unlike other countries, where you have to pay income taxes, in Dubai, you do not have to. The people working in Dubai are free from the tax-paying burden.

However, getting jobs in Dubai is not that easy. For expats, it’s pretty tough to cope up with the aspects of life like culture, religion, and the sense of freedom. The lifestyle of the Islamic city is different than that in any European country and you can enjoy less freedom as compared to other places. But the benefits better than anywhere else in the world easily overcome these aspects.

You can better ask your friends who have already been working in Dubai, as they can properly tell you about the working environment and the lifestyle of the city. Do not just go by reading some reviews online, as most of the names are fictional.

Creating Resume as Per UAE Standards

Being a city that has no anti-discrimination laws, Dubai offers a free lifestyle to the people residing there. This has also helped the expats to reside in Dubai very easily.  The selection for the jobs in Dubai is completely based on the skills and the experience which the person has achieved. The interviews, especially the technical rounds conducted for selection are also very tough.  The interviewers also judge people based on various things, which are:

Include Photograph

You must include your recent photo with your CV, if you want it to be more effective. The interviewers are quite experienced and your photo will be enough to tell them about you. Make sure that you put a clear photo of yours and also ensure that you look presentable. You ethnicity also matters for the employers in Dubai. Whatever the reason may be, the experts always suggest putting a photograph so that your CV looks effective and lively.

 Including your country of origin:

The nationality of an individual is pretty important for the resume, as it will help the interviewer to categorize the individuals based on their nationalities. Suppose you are a dual-citizen, then better tell interviewers about this beforehand, so that you do not have to face problems in future.

No matter what type of individual you are, you nationality is sufficient to tell the interviewers about you. So stay straight and do not lie with your resume.

Include your real date of birth

This will help the employers to check whether you are suitable for the position or not. Obviously for a sales or marketing position, no middle age men would suit. The employers sort out the candidates based on their age, so it would be better to get sorted out or in, before you plan to visit the venue and attend the interview for job in Dubai.
