The first ever employment e-fair was organized in UAE a week ago by Jobs Abu Dhabi one of the initiatives of Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre (ADSIC) in cooperation with Bayt.com. Various governmental bodies and private sector industries like Emirates Steel industries, HSBC Bank, Ajman University and others participated in the event.
This electronic fair helped job seekers in the emirates to register themselves and get connected to various employers through internet. It gave them a platform to interact and expose their profile to potential employers and made the process of headhunting much easier for the companies in UAE by saving their time and expenses. It also allowed access to special information on the company including its culture, goals and procedures followed for recruitment.
The e-Fair aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the labor market through innovative methods in Abu Dhabi and other Emirates of UAE.
