Hiring Trends in UAE Positive - Survey

The economies of various countries in the world have been bouncing back to normalcy. Many a faces would alight to know that hiring activity in UAE is catching up to meet the manpower deficit apparent in the emirate owing to lay offs last year.

UAE job market is believed to be back on track by industry experts, HR managers, headhunters and recruiters. According to a survey conducted by a networking group and a market research firm together, job market is most bullish for hiring in human resource, finance, sales and marketing sectors. Nearly a 20% increase in recruitments has been observed in UAE as compared to last year. Though salaries have not seen any jump and been the same as 2009 but are expected to increase by the year end.

Expatriates are seen willing to move out of UAE to other parts of the Middle East like Saudi Arabia and Qatar forced by market dynamics. This has intensified the competition in Gulf job market while employers are putting candidates through rigorous selection processes. It is a potential recruitment market as hundreds of foreign professionals show interest in taking up jobs in UAE. They are concerned about their organization, stability and potential relocation within or outside the region.

As popularly known, there is no other better way than networking of increasing your chances of grabbing jobs in Middle East countries. Even in these times of tough competition and stiff screening processes, employers are open to meeting the referred professionals directly. Networking definitely is very important as it opens doors that may not be easily reachable otherwise.
