Demand for Highly Qualified Professionals in Middle East

Middle East is a dynamic region that has been growing steadily over the years. It suffered a setback during economic meltdown but is back on its growth path. The report on Global Professionals on the Move shows that employees working on middle to senior level positions, who held higher degrees like MBA were earning an average salary of $125,000 USD. It also explored the reasons for willingness of professionals to work abroad and the factors that motivate professionals at a time of uncertainty and flux in the global recruitment market.

Professionals believe that a temporary stint in an international region like Middle East will add impressively to their resume and may even give them an experience that their home country may not. Language and cultural issues might make them hesitant but since Middle East is a key player on the international stage, they know it should not be ignored. Expatriates already working in Middle East countries love the more family-friendly pace of life and think of it as a wonderful region to spend time in.

The qualified professionals who look at long term five year plan are excited about actively seeking out the experience. Jobs in Middle East offer them with a multitude of personal, lifestyle and career opportunities. They see their international experience as a key source of fast-tracking their careers and boosting personal development. More than 60% were not affected by recession in their decision to work overseas in regions like Middle East, Gulf and UAE.

Experts are sure that when things pick up further, the global war for talent will intensify. Then, the countries offering best salaries and lifestyles will attract the best talent- who are both mobile and flexible.
