Here comes the good news for the employees planning to go for work in Kuwait. Now, no more small pay packages could be given for your hard work in the Kuwait region of the gulf countries. The social affairs and the labour minister of Kuwait yesterday announced that no employer would be hired on a wage less than 60 Dinars. This has been a great step towards the improvisation of the economic conditions of a large number of people in Kuwait. This decision is the closure of the pending decision which was to be taken after the passing of the new labour laws in December.
As reported by an online news portal on gulf news, the minister said, that the new law will be implemented on all the new government projects, but, does not have any effect on the projects already implemented. The decision is a part of the drive, which the labour minister has started for the reformation of the labour market, to attract more workers towards the private market, by giving more benefits and higher salary packages to the employees in private sector. This is because of the reason, that a larger part of the economy growth is in the hands of the private sector in Kuwait, so to invite more job application for jobs in the private sector of Kuwait, this reformatory measure has been taken.
Also, currently the foreigners are paid very less in the private sector of the Kuwait market, which are mainly people who handle the private job sector of the gulf countries. So to balance the dependency and the participation and interest of the foreigners in the Kuwait jobs, this step seems to be a building stone in changing the mindset of the foreign workers including Indians towards the private jobs opportunities in Kuwait.
