Middle East countries have a number of jobs on the board. Among which most of the jobs are available in the construction industry, due to booming construction industry. The construction jobs welcome workforce from all sections; no matter they are skilled or non-skilled.
The construction industry depends on skilled workers for the electrical work, installing drywall, masonry, shovel work and many more. After recording a slight decline in the 1990s, the workforce in the construction industry has experienced a rise, which has now reached an annual rate of 4.5%. However, there is need for the government to interfere and revise the payment of the construction workers. It is a well known fact that the average hourly wage of construction workers is still slightly below to that of workers in the production of goods. But the good news is that the demand is ever increasing. The increased demand for labor has lowered the unemployment rate in the construction industry, which was at its lowest level in the recent past.
The future growth and the payments in the construction vacancy are increasing and so are the hopes of the construction professionals in the Middle East. In the UAE itself, $35.6 billion worth of construction projects are running which demand construction professionals on a regular basis.
