Gulf Job Market on a Recovery Spree !

Working in Gulf is an absolutely ‘dream come true’ as you get prodigal amounts of money against the same kind of job in your own country.

The recent global downturn had slowed down economies of almost all the countries located on the world map. And, cities in Gulf were affected too. Some people had to leave their jobs and go back to their native cities in the wake of lay offs. But the resilient economy of Gulf is now generating plenty of jobs for all and attracting expatriates again. Companies in Gulf are looking forward to compensate for the jobs and the workforce lost due to recession.

Current news reports have confirmed that numbers of jobs in Gulf and in Middle East are increasing. According to the survey undertaken by an online recruitment portal in Middle East, the average pay rises have exceeded the increase in cost of living for the first time. As cited by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration that covered Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and the United Arab Emirates for the period 2009-2010, rent rates in many cities have fallen by over 30%. An improvement in quality lifestyle and saving potential has been observed in Gulf countries, especially in Dubai and Doha. Moreover, moves have been made for greater legal rights and protection of employees by easing the labor laws.

Oman is offering the highest average pay rise around 8.5% closely followed by Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain at around 7%. The biggest average rise among sectors was recorded in the audit sector as demand for audit services have risen after the collapse of major global institutions.

I believe that with positive reviews on Gulf job market coming in already, a clear indication of restoration of soaring salaries and an extravagant lifestyle is made!
